Demos

Prof. Ben O’Connor, Prof. Karl Rockne, and I recieved a grant from the University of Illinois - Chicago Teaching Excellence Review Committee to integrate computational fluid dynamics into the CME curriculum.  The grant provided support for my new class (CME 494: Intermediate Fluid Mechanics) as well as the development of interactive computer demos for the laboratory sections of CME 211: Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics.  These demos (below) provide improved visualization of different fluid flow as well as the ability to change the flow parameters and add tracer particles.
